Sun, Moon and Stars themed Everything Cozies

Welp, it’s been a bit since I’ve checked in here! The last two months have been a strange ride for all of us. I was so happy when Sarah of The Plush Pineapple reached out to me to do another mod of my Everything Cozies Pattern!

i don’t know about you, but I was obsessed with the Sun, Moon and Stars theme when I was a teenager. I had blankets and posters. My art at the time even reflected it from pottery to sheet metal mobiles. So when Sarah said she possibly wanted to do a Sun (because, you know she’s all about summer) my head immediately went to this theme. My thought was if you used the Sun appliqué, you could use moon and star buttons to complete the theme.  When I told Sarah this, she was excited and decided to do all three appliqués!

i already offered Sun Buttons and plain star in my shop, and now I’ve added two more buttons that go with this theme. A 1” round moon and star button and a 1” concentric star button! I love the way you can mix and match with these. You can also purchase four of each in a variety pack at a discounted rate.

 My Everything Cozies are named as such because they are designed to adjust in the back with 2 buttons. Because of this, they will fit mugs, coffee cups and iced drinks as the pattern is written. Making them perfect to just throw in your purse and they are great Market items!

-Bobble Celestial appliques by The Plush Pineapple. You can also purchase the ad free PDF here on Etsy.

-Worsted weight yarn in your choice of colors  

-3/4” - 1” buttons of your choice. All shown in this post is available in my Etsy. Individual links are found above.

For my cozy, I decided to use ILTY Metallic Teal and ILTC in golden yellow for the applique. 

 I will be making another cozy with the moon and star, I can’t wait to show it! Sarah’s set will be great on so many different projects, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
