Bee Themed Sunglasses Everything Pouch

If you have some of my other patterns and been following along for a while, you’ve probably noticed I’m not big on a pattern being just one thing.  When I started making this as a Sunglass Case, I quickly realized my phone fit perfectly.  Then I realized my hooks fit in it too!  Making it a very hand and versatile little case.  It evolved into something that could be customized in so many ways. Drawstring, flap, one button or two, striped or solid.  And that’s why this is called my Sunglasses Everything Pouch!

Now that it’s been out a little over a month, I am having fun making themed versions of it now! The first theme up is bees. I absolutely love bees, and since I also make bee themed patches and buttons I thought a Bee themed case would be perfect!

The first one I made was yellow and black striped in the drawstring style. I striped it a bit differently than covered in the pattern.  I alternated colors every 2 rows. For the drawstring, I secured one Bee Button before chaining. I then wove it through the DC row before securing the other button on.  I then add one piece of fringe to each end and cut the ends short.

I then decided to go it a total other direction for the next one. I used a nice off white cotton, then starting with Round 4 I alternated the black and yellow on the even number rows. At the top, I added two additional rounds of SC (one in black and one in yellow) before doing the strap and flap round.

I decided to do two bee buttons instead of the one button flap.

I used I Love This Cotton for both of these.  The pattern, patches and buttons can all be found in my Etsy Shop.

The Bee Themed hooks shown were made by HeartSprinkle.
